Privacy Policy
Effective July 14, 2026
Introduction and Scope
The McFarland Group respects the privacy of visitors to www.themcfarlandgroup.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect on this site, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
This policy covers information collected through this website only. It does not cover information we collect through offline engagements, phone calls, or in-person meetings.
Information We Collect
We collect two kinds of information on this site: information you submit to us directly, and information collected automatically through tracking technologies.
Information you submit
- Consultation requests. When you book a consultation through the Calendly scheduler on our contact page, you provide your name, email address, and preferred date and time for the meeting.
- White paper and resource kit downloads. When you download a white paper or resource kit, a form asks for your first name and email address. The download is delivered through Netlify Forms, which collects and stores the submitted information.
Information collected automatically
This site runs four tracking tools that collect cookies, device identifiers, and usage data such as pages visited, time on site, and referral sources. These tools are:
- Google Analytics 4
- Meta Pixel
- LinkedIn Insight Tag
- HubSpot tracking code
These tools collect data for analytics and advertising measurement, including building retargeting audiences.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as health, financial account, or government identification details.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries and consultation requests.
- Deliver the white papers and resource kits you request.
- Improve the content and performance of this site.
- Measure the effectiveness of our marketing and build audiences for advertising.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The four tools listed above use cookies and similar technologies to recognize your browser and collect usage data. You can control these through your browser settings and through each provider's opt-out options.
- Google Analytics: install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Meta Pixel: manage your Facebook ad preferences.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag: use the LinkedIn retargeting opt-out.
- HubSpot tracking code: see HubSpot's cookie policy at legal.hubspot.com/cookie-policy, or manage cookies through your browser settings.
Most browsers let you accept, block, or delete cookies. Blocking cookies may limit some features of this site. This site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.
How We Share Information
We share information with the service providers that operate the tools described in this policy. These include Calendly (scheduling), Netlify (forms and hosting), Google (analytics), Meta (advertising), LinkedIn (advertising), and HubSpot (tracking and marketing). Each provider uses the data according to its own privacy policy. These providers may store or process information outside the United States under their own policies.
We may disclose information when required by law, in response to a legal process, or to protect our rights and safety.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
The McFarland Group does not sell personal information.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. After that, we delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
Your Privacy Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. Privacy rights vary by state and country.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@themcfarlandgroup.com. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response or by emailing the same address. We do not use personal information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
